Amid a soaring crypto market, two former executives from leading investment management companies, Millennium Management and Pacific Investment Management Company (Pimco), are making a comeback in the cryptocurrency space.
Benoit Bosc, former portfolio manager at Millennium, and Michael Bressler, former executive vice president at Pimco, have decided to establish a new crypto consultancy firm called x2B, as reported by Bloomberg. This move marks their return to the industry to provide guidance to crypto projects on fundraising, tokenomics, market-maker strategy, exchange listing, and treasury management.
Both Bosc and Bressler have a background in the crypto space, having worked at the liquidity firm GSR before their roles at Millennium and Pimco. They aim to bring a professional and transparent approach to the crypto industry, targeting more accountability from market participants and service providers involved in token launches.
With an optimistic outlook for the crypto market in 2024, fueled by Bitcoin’s surge past $80,000, Bosc and Bressler’s reentry comes at a strategic time. The recent bullish sentiment has been further amplified by developments such as Donald Trump’s presidential victory, which is expected to have a positive impact on the growing crypto industry both in the US and globally.
As Bitcoin continues to climb, currently trading at $81,331, up 3% in the last 24 hours, investors and industry experts are closely monitoring the market for further opportunities and growth potential.
