As analysts project a potential Bitcoin bull rally in 2025, driven by the growing global money supply and a weakening US dollar, investors are keeping a close eye on the cryptocurrency’s future price movements.
Just shy of breaking the $100,000 mark in late November, Bitcoin experienced a slight correction, leading some experts to predict a possible 30% retracement. However, according to Jamie Coutts, chief crypto analyst at Real Vision, factors like the M2 money supply and the US Dollar Index (DXY) could pave the way for a significant rally in the coming years.
Coutts has previously highlighted the correlation between the M2 money supply and Bitcoin prices, pointing out that the recent positive growth in the money supply has driven investors to seek inflation hedges like Bitcoin. With expectations of a further increase in the global M2 supply due to liquidity injections, Bitcoin could potentially reach over $132,000 in 2025.
While the US dollar weakness remains a key factor influencing Bitcoin’s price, other catalysts like Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election and MicroStrategy’s continued Bitcoin purchases are also expected to fuel the cryptocurrency’s upward momentum. Additionally, Bitcoin’s growing adoption, with daily active addresses nearing one million for the first time since 2019, signals a positive trend for the digital asset.
With various factors aligning to support Bitcoin’s potential rally in 2025, investors are optimistic about the cryptocurrency’s future prospects.
