Sweden’s Spotlight Stock Market has recently debuted 20 new digital asset exchange-traded products (ETPs), expanding investment opportunities for traditional investors. All these ETPs were launched by Valour, a subsidiary of DeFi Technologies, solidifying their presence in the digital asset market.
With this latest addition, Spotlight now offers a total of 45 ETPs, all of which are digital asset offerings by Valour. Among them, four ETPs are euro-denominated, while the rest are priced in Swedish kronor, providing investors with a diverse range of options to choose from.
In June, Valour kickstarted its ETP segment on Spotlight with products like CoreCORE and HederaHBAR. The management of many ETPs is outsourced to a third party, ensuring efficient operation and performance. Johan Wattenström, the co-founder of Valour, expressed excitement about the new ETP launch, highlighting the diverse range of assets they offer.
Some of the assets featured in the new ETPs include AaveAAVE, Aerodrome FinanceAERO, and Akash NetworkAKT, among others. Valour currently lists over 60 ETPs across Europe and aims to achieve a total of 100 ETPs by 2025, showcasing their commitment to expanding their digital asset offerings.
Notably, Valour collaborated with Spotlight to introduce the first DogecoinDOGE ETP in November, further diversifying their portfolio. This strategic partnership has proven successful, with Valour also moving 19 ETPs from the Nordic Growth Market to Spotlight in October.
Looking ahead, Valour has signed a memorandum of understanding with AsiaNext and Sov.fi to list their ETPs on AsiaNext’s Singapore-licensed securities exchange, expanding their global reach. Additionally, they have established partnerships with various exchanges, including the Nairobi Securities Exchange in Kenya, to list assets like BitcoinBTC, EtherETH, and SolanaSOL.
